I guess I can manage the first bit quite easily.
Hey, stop sniggering! I know how to shush when I have to!
It’s the second bit that is troubling me. I’m an award-winning procrastinator at the best of times. Doubly so when faced with something I’ve never done before.
Every time I decide to sit down and start writing my book I find something else to do. Suddenly the kitchen floor needs to be hand-scrubbed or the carpets need vacuuming. I know these are displacement activities, and I know what I’m up to. So why can’t I just park my butt at the desk and crack on?
The answer is probably more to do with fear of the unknown. I have absolutely no idea where to start! There. I’ve admitted it. I’m clueless.
I feel some research coming on. Is there a book called “Book Writing for Dummies”? I need all the help I can get.
Pop over to Linda G Hill for the low-down on taking part in One Liner Wednesday and #JusJoJan
Some days are better than others, but just write. Put words on a page, and know that it doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to write in order….just put your ideas down

Thank you… I guess I should take the plunge and quite literally put pen to paper 📝😊

I know what you mean. I started writing a book about a year ago. I got to the last chapter months ago and need to finish it but every time I start to think about it, I find something else more important. When will we ever find a day with NOTHING else to do but write?
