One-liner Wednesday – Well I never!

I never knew that Christian Grey could set off a hot flush/flash!

I think this post is safe for work… depends on your interpretation and where you work I suppose!

There I was, minding my own business, mistress of the TV zapper last night (all family away from home at the moment), watching Fifty Shades Darker on the movie channel, when Mr Grey appeared on-screen, smouldering.

Wooooosh!

I’m beetroot red from head to foot, heart racing, covered in a light sheen as if I’d just completed a 100m sprint! Not bad for a couch potato. If I’d been a couch corn kernel I would have popped!

I knew that spicy food, red wine, and chocolate are my triggers. Incidentally, this knowledge does not stop me from indulging in them. I simply dress for the occasion and carry a fan. But now I have to add Mr Grey to the list.

I wonder if an experiment is called for? Are the flushes triggered by the sight of him, or is it enough to read the books and use my imagination? What would happen if I do both at the same time?

Stand by with the fire extinguishers!
