I wish my IT department had either paid attention to my one-liner or hit the above button. All I needed them to do was to do a tiny repair to make sure the weekly software updates got applied to my laptop.
Instead of a 30 minute fix, my laptop was out of action for 5 hours while they installed a new operating system!! Seriously! The old one was working fine. And now, although the original issue is fixed, the new OS has broken so many more things!!!
Arrgh!

Today it’s a “not”! I’ve decided to leave any further messing around, or fixits as they call it, till next month! I have workarounds that are working fine at the moment. 🤪
