The enigmatic Great Pyramids of Giza have fascinated me since primary school history lessons. It was my great fortune to visit them last year with Mr D – a 50th birthday adventure. Indeed, we actually climbed up the inside of Khufu’s pyramid, right into the burial chamber. This was not a climb for the faint-hearted!
There are many theories on how these monuments were built, their location, dimension, and orientation. None of them completely explain everything, hence the enduring enigma.
I’m none the wiser for having been there, but I do count myself fortunate to have timed my visit with the Autumnal Equinox.
What do you think?
Aliens? Forgotten expertise?
Wishing you all a fab Friday xx

How interesting that would be to do. Bravo for your climb – Not for the faint of heart indeed.
