This was going to be a decent length post but my body had other plans and handed me a migraine. Thanks for that! Still, while lying in the dark, waiting for it to subside, I did some thinking, as you do to pass the time.

Did I know any bands with ‘echo’ in their name? Yes! Echo and the Bunnymen.

Did I know any songs with ‘echo’ in the title? This one required more thought until I came up with Echo Beach – Martha and the Muffins

And finally, did I know any songs with ‘echo’ in the lyrics. Instantly I was transported way on back to the late 60s… Stephen Still’s ‘Everybody’s talking at me’

“Everybody’s talking at me
I don’t hear a word they’re saying
Only the echoes of my minds”

Given the state of my head, I’d love to join him where the sun keeps shining, through the pouring rain … sailing on a summer breeze.

Ah well. It will pass and normal function will resume soon.
