Urgh! I have a well of emotion stuck inside from last week, when my mum was taken into hospital. My father and sister have managed to give vent but not me.
My very wise friend, also named Catherine explained –
“Be patient with yourself; the dam will burst when it’s good and ready. No use comparing yourself to other members of your family. They have not walked your path.”
Ok. I shall be patient, wait, and be armed with an industrial quantity of tissues.
