Last week in the UK, the BBC Breakfast news program focussed on various aspects of menopause, discussing the physical and mental changes that around 50% of the population experience first-hand. The other 50% experience the backlash and spend most of their time wondering what the heck happened.
I came across this quote while trying to identify a butterfly I’d seen while walking the pup. I think it sums up menopausal changes perfectly.
Have a wonderful Wednesday xx
This week’s midweek pondering is brought to you by Linda G Hill and my own slightly warped mind.
1. Make it one sentence. (Ooops!)
2. Try to make it either funny or inspirational.
3. Use our unique tag #1linerWeds.
4. Add our lovely badge to your post for extra exposure!
5. Have fun!

That’s a very good reminder, Cath.

Perfect analogy! According to that, I’m already a butterfly, thank goodness! 🙂

Me too. I wonder what the collective noun is for a group of butterflies? 🦋

I love this. LOVE it. As someone on the starting end of those changes I often look around and wonder what the hell is happening — this is a nice reminder that I’ll come out the other side. Eventually. 😆

I still have the odd ‘what the heck’ moments. On the whole, it’s much better on the other side 🦋😁
