Publish! – this seems to be word of the week at work. You see I work in the geeky, nerdy world of on-line learning. It’s part of my job to make sure the right course is available to the right people at the right time. It’s also part of my job to project-manage the production of courses. It has few stresses except for the occasional glitch that needs me to hunt it down and squish it.
The final part of the development process is to publish the course in the correct format. In my case I publish courses to be loaded to learning management systems. The reason publish (and ‘oh sh!t!’ as a bonus expletive) is word of the week is because I have to republish loads of courses in a new format to avoid the snake pit that is Adobe Flash Player. Most browsers have already switched off access to Flash Player by default and it would take a degree in computer science to track down how to switch it back on! For my courses it means that some of them look broken when they are in fact still fine.
So my job this week is to make sure our entire catalogue is republished to HTML5! I may be some time…
Thanks to Ritu for supplying today’s prompt. If you’d like to take part in the annual daily blogging challenge, pop over to Linda for the rules and list of prompts. It’s never too late to join in, unless you’re reading this from February onwards!

That sounds more complex than publishing my novel!

I’ve no idea how to publish a novel so I couldn’t say 🤪 My guess is I have the easier time!
