Your prompt for #JusJoJan and Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “last call.” Talk about the enterprise (sales or service) conducted by the last phone call you received from a business you’re not associated with (i.e. your workplace), or talk about that phone conversation itself. Have fun!
As Mr D runs his business from home our landline is busy with incoming and outgoing calls. The incoming calls are almost always for him. When he’s out I end up being his temporary receptionist. I don’t mind this at all. It makes my day a little more interesting.
Amongst the genuine calls we get the occasional phishing calls… ‘your internet has been hijacked’… ‘your laptop has security issues’ etc. Just for a change, the last genuine business to call was BMW. Apparently Mr D’s car is on the product recall list and needs to be booked in. Lovely lady, great sense of humour, and extremely efficient at sorting out the car.
If only Mr D was as efficient at populating his work diary (shared on line with me). He wants me to call back to rearrange the appointment!
“Nope… your diary, your car, you sort it!”
Thank you Linda for this cracking prompt.

Fair response. Shared calendars are great, until someone forgets to update them.
