… doesn’t always catch a basic worm, it can catch a chaos worm. Today the catching of said worm ended up in an epic aerial battle with two other ‘early’ birds.
So intent on their prize were they, that they completely ignored a passing runner (me), flew through their legs (much to my surprise) and nearly upended the destabilised runner!
I might run later, just for safety!
Today’s prompt is part of the midweek challenge hosted by Linda G Hill. Pop over for the rules and a chance to read other contributions.

Wow, that was very unusual, but glad you didn’t get hurt in the process.

I thought I was gonna hit the deck and end up with two scabby knees – just like a kid!! I think my yoga balance training helped me😀

Wow! I’ve never gotten dive-bombed by birds when I run. something new every day. 🙂 Hope you’re OK!

Yup… been running for years without being mobbed by birds! Just shows you how blinkered birds get when they have chicks to feed!

The little bird that lives in our birdhouse got startled, flew out and smacked me in the head. She packed quite a wallop for a little thing.

I’ve seen some incredible bird air shows across our backyard lately, that’s for sure.
