Any other day I would have come up with something from my own little world. But today isn’t just another day in the UK lockdown 3.0. Today our attention is diverted from our dire Covid statistics to news from the US.
Yesterday evening my family sat down to watch television after our evening meal. I normally use this time to have a cup of tea (very British), open my iPad and catch up on WordPress, do a jigsaw puzzle or two and maybe a word game if my brain isn’t too fried.
As I clicked onto the BBC website, a ‘breaking news’ banner popped up. I thought I’d misread it, but no. Chaos reigned in the Capitol! And that was it. My attention was caught in a web of horrified disbelief.
We shouldn’t wish our lives away, but roll on Inauguration Day!
Today’s JusJoJan is brought to you by a prompt from Linda G Hill. Click here to see how to take part.

Very sorry to interrupt your tea. If that sounds sarcastic, it is not. I am embarrassed for/by our so called leadership at the moment. January 20th can come soon enough.

Hey Dan. We have the floppy-haired buffoon for our leader and the fallout from finally Brexiting! 🤦🏻♀️I feel your pain. A cup of tea normally helps you fix most problems in life. There isn’t enough tea in the world to sort this one.
Sending you a solidarity hug 🤗
