… was the polite version of what went through my head on Monday’s lunchtime pooch exercise session. What actually came out was something more like ‘aaaarghoooooof’!
The blooming dog decided to become a canine bulldozer, hit my knees from behind, at full speed, dropping me to the ground like a sack of potatoes. The end result was one bloodied knee through my jeans (my favourites… and thick material too), the other knee badly bruised and gravel-rashed, and two bruised and scratched palms.
I say again, ‘That blooming dog!’ I haven’t had scabby knees like that since I was tiny!
This week’s offering is part of Linda G Hill’s One-liner Wednesday challenge.

Oh my. They have the best timing, don’t they? 💛
Literally two seconds later and I’d have been in a soft, freshly ploughed field! It would have been muddy hands and knees. Instead, I have scabby knees and colourful bruises!!
I know that feeling – I hope your knees feel better soon.
Dogs. Gotta love ’em. Heal well.
