Mr D and I are heading off for the weekend, this weekend. We are supposed to meet up with friends we haven’t seen since Covid started, but alas, one of them has caught covid. Since our train ticket and hotel are booked, we’re going anyway. Where to? London, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the UK. As I’m from Edinburgh, this is high praise indeed. If I’m offered the chance of partaking in cocktail happy hour, you can bet one of them will be a Cosmopolitan!
