What a cracker of a word we have today – abscission! Even as I typed the word I didn’t get any guesses from my iPhone. Anyway, I digress. We have Lakshmi to thank for the word, and Linda for hosting this daily challenge throughout January. Please visit both of them.
Now that I’ve consulted a dictionary (I’m sure I’m not the only one) I realise that one of my favourite times of the year only happens courtesy of abscission. Without it I wouldn’t have the fun of wading through autumn leaves! I don’t think I’ll ever see autumn in quite the same way now.
