JusJoJan 23rd – Just imagine…

… how much fun travel would be if there was such a thing as the ‘Infinite Improbability Drive.’ Where would you go? Personally, I’d steer clear of the Restaurant at the End of the Universe for obvious reasons (shocking parking).

Here’s a selection of my improbable destinations –

  • Lothlorien, Middle Earth
  • Diagon Alley and Hogwart School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
  • Narnia

Where would you go and why? Let your imagination run riot.

Thanks to Janet for today’s word, and to Linda for hosting this fab challenge.

So it was in the light of a fair morning King Théoden and Gandalf the White Rider met again upon the green grass beside the Deeping-stream

J R R Tolkien, The Two Towers

And so you find me in the middle of my annual reading of The Lord of The Rings. In know there’s a whole world of book out there waiting to be read, but this is something I’ve done every year since I was 15! I’m not about the break with my own tradition.

One day I’m finished, I have a new book to read, Time’s Convert by Deborah Harkness. I’m looking forward to reading more about Matthew de Clairmont. Amazingly, as I write this, there’s a sneaky peak trailer of new tv programs to be aired this year, one of them being part two of the All Souls trilogy, Shadow of Night.

Today’s prompts took me a couple of readings to understand what was needed… it’s not difficult, but it’s the end of my first week back to work and my brain refused to function. Anyway, here’s the link to Linda’s page with all the instructions. Have fun!
